Although we are a small congregation we believe the Lord can still use us and we pray for more Christians to come and join us. We hope we are a friendly church who make visiting preachers and anyone who comes to church welcome.
This has been a busy and exciting year for us with the Together Mission, which we hope will bear fruit as it caused quite a lot of interest in the community. We don't believe in continual fund raising believing the Lord will provide, but we do realise we have to pull our weight. We run soup & pudding lunches which are very popular and also have stalls at Kielder castle when they have a fair on.
We believe in the power of prayer and the Bible and have a fortnightly Bible discussion group which is ecumenical.
We run an after school club at Kielder School and usually get 100% attendance.
We share the special services, (harvest, Christmas etc.) with the Anglican Church taking turns at holding the services. We can get up to 50 people for these services. We also do various other things throughout the year. We sing carols in Kielder castle courtyard and at the Calvert Trust. We run songs of praise on the ferry sometimes in the park. We will cater for church visits if required. In fact if we think it's a good idea or will help the Lord's work we'll have a try at anything.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at Falstone Church at 10:30am.
