The church has been converted into a tearoom on two occasions recently when we served afternoon teas. The first occasion was at the beginning of Christian Aid week when we chose to do afternoon teas as a fund raiser — £366 was raised from this afternoon which was enjoyed by everyone.
The second occasion was when members of Marie's previous church came to Corbridge for their summer outing. The ladies visited Ministacres for morning coffee before coming to Corbridge for a look around the village and completed their day by having afternoon tea in the church. It was a very enjoyable time for all involved and the money from this was split between Newcastle Street Pastors and South Tyneside Street Angels.
