Church doors will open once again on Sunday as the circuit continues to welcome back congregations for worship.

It follows a successful post-lockdown return last weekend, when many people turned out for services at Allendale, Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge, Hexham Trinity, Hexham West End, and Wark.

The same six churches will open again this Sunday (25th April) — and two more will be added to the list.

Wylam Methodist Church will host a streamed video service on Sunday morning, while a pre-recorded audio service will be played at Stocksfield Methodist Church, on Sunday afternoon.

Details for services for Sunday 25th April are as follows:

Hexham Trinity at 10.30am (this will also continue to be livestreamed on Zoom and Facebook)

Haltwhistle at 10.30am

Haydon Bridge at 10.30am

Wylam at 10.45am (this will also continue to be livestreamed on Zoom and Facebook)

Wark at 11am
