We are a group of Methodist Churches working together to share ministry and mission across the Tyne Valley. The Circuit's commitment across Tynedale is to see vibrant Christian communities which introduce people to life in the Kingdom of God and help people to live as followers of Jesus Christ.

Our church communities have remained strong as we have faced the challenges posed by the pandemic over recent years. Online worship became the norm during the lockdown periods and the success of services, Bible studies and other activities have been a great credit to all involved. As church buildings across the Circuit have now reopened, it is great to be at the stage where people can physically meet in worship once again. We'll continue to use online resources and we invite everyone to keep up to date with the Tynedale Methodist Circuit page on Facebook.
On the resources page and the Circuit Facebook page, you can find weekly streamed worship services, worship videos, plus other devotional resources.
Please keep checking this website for more information.

Welcome to our website. My name is Rev Jenny Porterpryde and I am the superintendent of the Tynedale Circuit.
Tynedale Methodist Circuit stretches from the Allendale area to Bellingham and from Haltwhistle and Kielder over to Prudhoe. We have small rural churches and larger town centre ones too. We offer in-church worship, live streamed worship, various Zoom events and filmed worship events, youth and children's groups as well. We are happy to help you plan baptisms and weddings and several of our churches are in the process of registering to conduct same sex marriage ceremonies as well so do contact us if we can help you in any way.
Most of all, we are happy to help you explore any and all areas of faith either online or in our buildings – drop us an email and we will get in touch. Maybe you are not sure where the Methodist church is in your town and village? On this website you will find images of all our premises, under the 'churches' section. You might find out that you knew where your Methodist church was all along.
The Bible says many many things but today I want to leave you with just one of them. Jesus says "I have come so that you can have life and live it to the full."
God bless you with a wonderful day and a wonderful week!
Rev Jenny Porterpryde
Superintendent Minister
