Welcome to the website of the Tyndale Methodist Circuit. A Methodist Circuit is a group of churches gathered together to share ministry and mission across an area.

The Circuit's commitment across Tynedale is to see vibrant Christian communities which introduce people to life in the Kingdom of God and help people to live as followers of Jesus Christ.

Tynedale Circuit covers a very large area bordering Cumbria in the west, Scotland in the north, Tyneside in the east and Durham in the south. It is an area well supplied with rivers but dominated by the Tyne that provides life to rich agricultural lands. Most of the area covered by the Circuit is spectacularly beautiful countryside. The churches range from tiny congregations in small, remote villages to large churches in towns. Whatever their size, we aim for our churches to be vibrant, buzzing with life and activities. We have an excellent team of ministers and lay people that provide leadership, vision and direction.

I hope this website will help us keep in touch. More than that, my prayer is that it will enable us to walk with Jesus together, and that it will encourage others to join us on the journey.

May God bless you as you read these pages. May they inspire you with the love of God and help you connect with God and with the churches of the Tynedale Methodist Circuit.

Paul Dunstan
Superintendent Minister.
