Our Church has 32 members, we are enthusiastic about spreading God's word and welcoming new people in our midst.
Since Covid, we now have a weekly Sunday morning service at 10.30am which is well attended and taped copies of this are distributed to those who cannot be present. We also have a fortnightly more informal Prayer and Praise service on Wednesdays at 7pm and on the alternate Wednesdays, most times, a Bible Study.
We work well with other village Church denominations and have special services together when appropriate.
As an outreach, we fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and at the beginning of December we collect toys and gifts for collection and distribution by the local Salvation Army.
Last year we also filled and distributed shoeboxes to the elderly in our midst containing food items/toiletries and a Christmas message booklet, these small gifts were well received.
At Easter-time through Churches Together we purchased 'The Real Easter Egg' for the children attending Shaftoe Trust School and we have done the same with Advent Calendars for the children at Shaftoe which will contain a booklet of the Christmas Story.
