FACEBOOK ADVENT CALENDAR by Churches Together in Prudhoe, Stocksfield and Wylam
Short, seasonal, inspirational messages are viewed daily on mobile phones throughout December. You don't need to know how to do Facebook to take part. Simply come up with a few lines from your favourite Advent hymn or Advent Bible reading , or maybe a photograph of a peaceful winter scene and add a thoughtful caption or a a few Biblical words that world inspire the viewer. THE CHRISTMAS JOURNEY – December 11th from3pm – 4.30pm in Stocksfield Community Centre
This is an exciting new venture, to replace the Big Sing. We hope it will appeal to parents or grandparents to bring their children to find "the special baby born to be King", an interactive journey meeting shepherds, Wise Men, prophets and finally Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus. There are costumes, scenery, crafts and refreshments. All are welcome, including adults unaccompanied by children. Teenagers to help would be greatly appreciated.
