Both children and adults took part in the Nativity Play at Haltwhistle Methodist Chapel. It was a great morning with parents, grandparents and friends watching avidly and staying for refreshments afterwards.
Later in the day, the chapel was full for the Community Carol Service. Readers from all three churches, as well as the school, leisure centre, pubs and businesses told the Christmas story through readings and carols. The choir sang well and mince pies were enjoyed afterwards as people spent time together.
God is good and Jesus is being shared with others!
