The Newcastle Central and East Circuit is seeking to appoint an Outreach Worker who will be based at Brunswick Methodist Church
The post involves working, as part of Brunswick's city centre Ministry Team, alongside church members and volunteers in outreach and mission to our city.
This role will be enabled through a committed presence in a church building and will involve actively responding to the various and often complex needs of those coming into the building but also signposting, as appropriate, to other means of support from services available across the city.
It may include working alongside partner groups who use the building and who share the church's values and aims.
There will be provision made in this role for time and space to reflect upon how outreach ministry can be offered most effectively during a pandemic, and in its aftermath.
